Security is First at FBCIT

Making sure your children are safe while in our care is our first priority. If you are being led to work with children ages infant to eighteen you are expected to be a member of FBCIT, complete an application and sign a release authorizing a background check which must be processed before being placed in any position. At FBCIT, we have installed a computerized check-in system. All information from this check-in system is stored offsite. This system will not allow anyone to pick up your child unless they have the pick up tag. This tag can only be obtained by the parent after they complete the check-in process. There are check-in kiosks located in the entrance ways to the children and preschool areas of the church. This check-in process provides security for your children while you worship at FBCIT.

CHILDREN'S

We provide ministry for children from kindergarten through fifth grade. Our goal is to help children discover Jesus in a personal way so they will grow up with His teachings firmly implanted in their hearts. It is our desire that the training they receive here will be taken with them throughout their lives. Children in our program participate in a loving, nurturing, and age appropriate environment. With this in mind, in 2005, we built a state of the art facility designed specifically for preschoolers and children. Our teaching endeavors to supplement the Christian love and training children receive in the home.

AWANA

Wednesdays, 6:15pm - 8pm

September - May only

AWANA is a bible-based program designed to teach children the importance of the Word of God. Through memorization, reinforcement and awards, children are encouraged to learn scriptures and how to apply them to daily living. Our AWANA program is divided into three clubs by age to allow us to minister to a growing number of children. We will consistently seek to enlist and train new workers to allow us to reach more chidlren with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Club nights begin at 6:15pm on Wednesdays, but you may drop off your child after 6pm. AWANA is offered each year from September through May.
