 IN THE HOUSE
Join us for five consecutive Sunday nights beginning September 21st through October 19th for the church-wide outreach series entitled, "In The House." The Celebration Service for this series will be on Sunday night, October 26th. "In The House" is a DVD study and fellowship tool to reach as many unchurched families as possible with the good news that we have already experienced. The theme will be on mending marriages and strengthening families. This series, which will take place in host homes, will be in place of regular Sunday evening services, there will not be a regular service on Sunday night during this period of time.

FINAL EVALUATIONS will be on Thursday, August 21st starting at 6pm. If it rains, we will do the make-up on Saturday morning at 10am.

Each year First Baptist Church and Metrolina Christian Academy offer education to the missionary children from the JAARS Center in Waxhaw. For the 2008-09, FBCIT and MCA are educating twenty-two JAARS students. You can make an eternal difference in their lives by sponsoring one of these students financially in their education at Metrolina Christian Academy.  FALL 2008 LIFE TRACK
We invite you to become a part of Life Track. The Fall 2008 session will begin on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Enrollment will begin on Sunday, August 17th on First Street. Please plan to purchase your book when you register.
AWANA Clubs begin Wednesday, September 3rd from 6:15-8:00 pm for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade. Please register your children by calling 704-882-1005 and ask for Julie or download and print form or sign up in the children’s ministry area. It’s that time of year again! Our Fall/Winter Kids Consignment Sale will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We will shut down from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and reopen for the Half Price Sale from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Registration begins July 28th and ends at midnight on September 24th.
