Life Groups and Discipleship

Life Groups

Life Groups are the best way to meet others, grow spiritually, and experience the best of FBCIT. These groups gather weekly for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer, helping you build authentic friendships and live out your faith. No matter your age or stage of life, there’s a group for you!

Each Life Group has its own personality, so we encourage you to visit a few before settling in. Groups engage in weekly study, monthly fellowship, and quarterly mission projects, fostering a strong community that serves and grows together. As you connect, you'll not only deepen your faith but also find opportunities to serve and invite others to experience the same.

On your first Sunday, stop by the Welcome Center and speak with one of our helpful greeters. They will gladly identify a Life Group for you and personally accompany you to the room.

During this 10-week study, learn about the various unique love languages, figure out which ones best fit you and your spouse, and then learn to communicate to your spouse in their love language.

What do the world’s major religions believe, where did those beliefs come from, and how do they compare with Christianity? We’ll take a historical journey through influential religions and religious movements—from ancient Hinduism and Buddhism to Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and modern spiritual movements.

We want to better understand the people God has placed around us—coworkers, neighbors, friends, and others from different cultures and religious backgrounds. We’ll examine their beliefs from a Christian perspective and learn how to engage them with understanding and respect, build meaningful relationships, and more effectively share the truth and hope of the gospel.
